Welcome to the new updated 24Knews site. I have needed to retire the old site because errors had started creeping in, that I couldn't resolve. I have constructed this new site using the latest versions of software and PHP. So it will work a lot faster and be much more reliable. It is also now mobile-friendly and makes future upgrades a breeze.

Sorry, but existing users will need to re-register. Let us make this new site great. The old site is still available in read-only mode, you can access it here http://old.24knews.com

^ Exactly. Too subtle. Too cryptic. Gets you nowhere.

I was paraphrasing a mindless TV quiz show (Name That Tune). Seeing only a few mins of it years ago unfortunately left a seemingly indelible mark... like a Cliffy ditty  (I could write a song about Jill Dando and present it to him, publicly)

If we filled our car the fuel would go 'off'. We only do about 30 miles/month.
  • Pixel8rSat Sep 25, 2021 3:51 pm
If I was you I would fill your tank anyway, at least.
  • Pixel8rSat Sep 25, 2021 3:52 pm
I'm thinking of getting an additional tank to fill and store at work.
  • LauraSat Sep 25, 2021 3:52 pm
If it was diesel, we would

My bike (petrol) will be put away for the winter end of Oct. Have never noticed stale fuel being an issue even though the bike gets put away for 4/5 months each year.
  • Pixel8rSat Sep 25, 2021 3:56 pm
It isn't out of choice, my bike is very temperamental and doesn't start when it's too cold at night.
