This morning, 2.742kg of pre47 sold on ebay for £829.50 (inc. p&p), therefore, the pos/t.oz = £18.85 compared to a spot price of 18.96

so in this instance, physical silver was purchased a tiny fraction under spot and of course without VAT

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271182089812? ... 1435.l2649

sold at £19.36 t.oz / current spot = £17.78 t.oz
