Poll: What will be the highest price of Gold in 2014?

Thought I'd do a poll to see what people think will be the highest price gold gets to this year. There seems to be a vast difference in the estimates out there currently.

I think $1,630 would be the peak around the end of this year. In my opinion this decline we're just about to tip in to isn't THE event. I say we get another deflationary scare, they print like there's no other solution and then after a year of printing, the wheels come off and that's THE event. IMO we're less than 2 years away from the start. Armstrong's ECM is in line with my sense of timing and he said on his blog recently that gold won't "blast off" until the peak of the ECM in 2015. I'm sure his definition of "blast off" will put a smile on all of our faces.

Quote to back up previous post:

Now look at gold took off with the decline in the ECM from 2007 and peaked at the bottom in 2011. This is showing that gold is inverting and will rally with the shift in assets from public to private. Because of this, even if the low is 2014, there will not be the blast off until the ECM peaks in 2015.75. During that decline in the ECM we should see the next rally and this is where we are likely to start to see more widespread government defaults at the state and local levels in Europe and the USA.

I went for $1800 as I wouldn't be surprised to see a quick move upto the neckline followed by a right shoulder formation.

always glad to cheer you up TA :D
my reasoning is more to do with the collapse of the $ than the moon shot in all currencies
altho I do think 2014 may give us one of the best up years so far in this cycle on a global scale.
the lower the price the happier I'll be as I'm still stacking

I believe he means 01/10/15 is when gold should start to make it's parabolic move.

I will place my vote as is done in the LBMA predictions. Low 1180 dollars, medium 1400, high 1525.

I haven't been about for a while and haven't been keeping an eye on things due to family commitments. Recently bought a house as I'm in the north of Ireland and I think we've had the crash we were expecting so house prices will bumble along at this level for a while imo. My original timetable has had a re-jigging. Fixed the mortgage for 5 years but hope Gold will gain some strength this year hopfully finishing between 1500 & 1550 giving it a platform to push on next year to overtake previous highs.
