Another year has gone by and 24Knews seems to be getting a bit more popular. I have reset the donation system as it's time for this years fees for running the site to be paid soon.

The Paypal donations can be accessed from the menu bar at the top of the screen or via this link - donate.php

If anyone doesn't have or want to use paypal just send me a PM and we could work something out. If we get over the amount I need (£250) I will run a 'guess the closing price' competition.

I have just reset the donations target (£175) for this year. Please consider a donation as it will help me with the hosting fees, I will also need to do a load of work on the site this year with moving over to the new version of phpBB.

wee Jinky has reminded me that I needed to reset the donations for this year, so I have done so.

I have spent out a lot on the site this year by moving us to a new server, which will continue to be more expensive. This server is much better than the old one though and it now means we also are using something called a content delivery network CDN which basically spreads the site around the a cloud of 3 servers, in Europe, America & Asia. So we should have faster worldwide access as well as much better stability.

I also am in the process of testing out the new version of phpBB which will be implemented at some point over the next year. It is much better but still needs a little bit more polishing yet.
