+26.90 (5.47%). I don't usually bother looking at daily changes (too much noise), but after a few cosecutive daily falls, that feels good

+6% now and has actually beaten my other favourite Great Panther with a daily gain of +5.4%. Imagine where these are going to go as we move into the end of February and JPM come under massive pressure on the March contract.

My horns are getting bigger. ;)

Recovering nicely.....back over 600. Annual result at the end of the month as well, which (if better than expected, of course) might fuel another high

It should be doing that at least really, look at the increase in the price of their product.

Now trading at 680.00, up 35.00 (5.43%).

This is above the previous high, so it looks like a double top has been avoided.

The market makers are playing tricks at the moment due to the situation in the Japan, HOC is down 7.6% so far this morning but if you look at the shares traded there is more bought than sold.

Current buy volume is 98,447 Vs sell volume of 93,961 yet the share price is down 7.6%!

Industrial action in Argentina, volcano disruption in Chile and threats of tax-hikes in Peru following electoral change.

Fundamentals are strong, but this stock is still hampered by local factors in South America. What I've learned from HOC.L is that there is a big difference between having gold/silver reserves and getting them out the ground efficiently. Still buying on dips, but this is now the risky part of my portfolio.

Up bigtime to break 500. Very volatile, but might be expected to run for a while if silver does, and if the workforce stay away from striking again.

I scaled back my holding in these recently, to free up some cash for exploring juniors. I still hold some 'free' shares which I will hold for the duration, but won't be following this one as much from now on.

I regret buying this one - off to test 410 again I reckon. In Gordon Gekko talk, this is a "Dog with Fleas".

Bit like all mining stocks really, they all have pulled back lately even the mighty SLW. I kind of get the feeling the "dogs with fleas' are going to turn in gazelle's later this year.

Still going down, now at 287.2p. Fortunatelty, I never overexposed myself to this, and sold half a while back to limit losses. I might just write this money off from my house-buying fund, forget about the shares, and return to them once things are much more bullish with silver.
